By combining “tribe” and trabaja, the Spanish word for “work,” Tribaja is a name that reflects the business’ shift into a “community” of people with an interest in tech & startup careers, including an active Slack group. We found that other recruiting platforms are built exclusively upon acquiring clients. Instead, we focused on Tribaja’s development of our community before all else. We are driven by a social impact mission to increase diversity in tech and innovation hubs nationwide. Our clients are equitable high growth startups dedicated to creating inclusive workplaces from day one. In July of this year, Tribaja relaunched during Philly Startup Leaders accelerator program and is in the 2nd phase of development after receiving great traction with our MVP, despite the pandemic.
