Senior Compliance Counsel - Retirement Plan Consulting

Steven E. Grieb is senior compliance counsel for Gallagher. He has practiced in a variety of employee benefits areas, including retirement plans, health plans, cafeteria plans, single and multiemployer plans, and executive compensation. Grieb currently serves as a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans Corporate Board and has also served on the CEBSⓇ Committee. He is a former president of the ISCEBS Governing Council and a past president of the Milwaukee chapter. Grieb was previously the lead author of the 401(k) Answer Book. He earned a J.D. degree with highest distinction from the University of lowa College of Law, has earned his Certified Em ployee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation, and is CEBS Compliant. In 2023, Grieb was inducted into the ISCEBS Hall of Fame.
