Matthew Veneri

Matt Veneri joined FIG Partners in 2005 and has 20 years of financial services experience. Matt co-leads the investment banking team and serves as a strategic advisor to financial institutions. Matt focuses on M&A transactions, bank and thrift valuations and capital offerings.

Matt Veneri has extensive experience working with community banks and has served as an advisor on more than 75 bank transactions totaling more than $3 billion. Before joining FIG, he was Vice President at Hovde Group, where he worked with financial institutions located across the Southeast, Texas, and the Rocky Mountain regions. Before that, Matt worked at Ambassador Financial Group, (formerly Danielson Associates, Inc.), a regional investment banking firm that served community bank clients in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states. Matt received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
