Jim Steele is the VP of Embedded Software at Samsara. Prior to joining Samsara, Jim led his sensor software startup to a successful acquisition and held senior engineering management positions at Knowles, Audience and Spansion. He received his PhD in Physics from State University of New York at Stony Brook and held research positions in theoretical nuclear physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Ohio State University. He also co-authored The Android Developer’s Cookbook.
