Jennifer King

Vice President of Academic Success

Dr. Jennifer King is a former tenured professor and academic dean of higher education and director of a teaching/learning center, recently celebrating her 25th year in education. New York University undergrad, she received her MEd in Curriculum & Instruction (1999) and a PhD in Instructional Technology and Educational Measurement, Assessment & Research (2003) at the University of South Florida. She authored two books, both entitled TechXtraordinary Integration (2009, 2014).

Dr. King has worked as a private consultant and since 2012, has partnered with hundreds of colleges and universities on initiatives for online learning, program planning and assessment, and accreditation. Currently the Vice President of Academic Success at Bisk Education, Dr. King’s strength is reimagining existing academic programs and guiding stakeholders to innovate in the online space for adult learners. Her passion is ensuring affordable access to educational opportunities for historically underrepresented populations (HURPs).

She currently serves on local boards of directors: St. Joseph’s Baptist Hospital/BayCare (Chair, Clinical Excellence Committee); Urban League of Hillsborough County (FL); and Tampa Bay Diversity Council (National Diversity Council).
