Prior to opening his money management firm, Ulland Investment Advisors in 1997, Mr. Ulland was EVP for Portfolio Administration at another MN money manager. Ulland Investment Advisors specializes in fixed income using preferred stock primarily issued by firms in the financial services sector. The current yield on the Intelligent Fixed Income strategy is over 7%. From 1993-1995 Mr. Ulland served as MN’s Commissioner of Commerce, the state’s chief regulator of banks, insurance companies and securities firms. He holds an MBA from Wharton and a BA from Carleton College.
