Managing Director - Regulatory Risk and Electronic Control

In this role, Debra Guarino oversees the Regulatory Risk and Electronic Control Department responsible for regulatory order and trade reporting, best execution, trade surveillance, middle office support, trade confirmations, managed accounts trading and operations and trading technology integration. This includes connectivity to exchanges and ownership of Pershing’s order management system.Prior to joining Pershing in 2010, Debra worked at Bear Stearns as a Managing Director in Derivative Operations responsible for a global operations team which supported the equity, municipal, interest rate, mortgage, and credit derivative trading desks globally. With the acquisition of Bear Stearns by JPMorgan, Debra was given the lead operations role in the migration of all derivative positions from the Bear Stearns books and records to JPMorgan.In my current role I am responsible for Regulatory Risk and Electronic Control which includes trade reporting, best execution, trade surveillance, Middle office groups, trading technology and and ownership of Pershing's order management system.
