My passion has always been technology. I am grateful to have a career that allows me to participate in the constant evolution we call technology. I am also grateful that I have helped customers use technology in ways they never thought possible, and to make their lives better through technology.Early in my career, despite being told it would be "impossible," for an Education Major with a retail background to become an Electrical Engineer, I did just that, and also acquire my Master’s Degree at the same time. I then began teaching technology at Louisiana Tech University, and also landed me my first telecom job at CenturyTel.Later, I moved to Dallas to help do a "startup" called Valor Telecom. At Valor, I grew to have the overall responsibly for the company’s planning, engineering, and technology vision, while leading a team of almost 200 people.
