Focused on design and analysis of preparative chromatography processes for bio-pharmaceutical production and stability of vaccines, antibodies, bifunctional mAbs and conjugates. Experienced with continuous manufacturing approaches for harvest and downstream production. Invented dual salt HIC method and pioneered understanding the role of lipids, antifoam and particles in mammalian cell culture harvest. Proficient in the application of statistical methods to process development. Developed purification platforms and primary clarification as well as tools predicting optimal purification steps for mAbs. Contributed to development of multiple commercial products.Specialties: RNA process development, mAb (including bifunctional) and vaccine downstream process development, harvest pre-treatment with understanding of the role of lipids, particle distrubution, and filterability.
