The intertwined strands of medicine and music form the very essence of my DNA. Once compartmentalized, I now recognize their potential for synergy, enriching both my clinical practice and my personal journey. My musical inclinations and medical aspirations coalesce seamlessly, enhancing my strengths across diverse domains.

Remarkably, the harmony of these two passions led me to Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), where I not only pursued my PharmD but also thrived on a partial band scholarship. FAMU was a pivotal platform, affording me myriad opportunities for self-exploration and evolution. From a transformative 3-month fellowship in Ghana, West Africa, to immersive HIV-focused ambulatory care rotations within marginalized communities grappling with health disparities, I was able to cultivate a profound understanding of healthcare challenges.

These experiences converged to shape my trajectory in HIV specialty care and public health. The seeds sown during my time at FAMU have blossomed into a career devoted to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by HIV and advocating for equitable healthcare practices.
