The past few years have seen an increase in incidents of bigotry, discrimination, and hate crimes toward the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community. As an organization that was founded on promoting an inclusive and equitable community and workforce, the National Diversity Council is using its platform to host the 2023 Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Leadership Summit. The focus of this annual event is to bring together successful AAPI leaders who—through dialogue about topics that relate to contemporary issues—will help educate, inspire and empower attendees to reflect on their own personal and professional goals, and encourage them to become leaders within their workplace and community.

HISTORY The National Diversity Council is a non-profit 51 (C)(3) organization that champions diversity as a business imperative. The National Diversity Council was launched in the summer of 28. The catalyst for the National Diversity Council was the need for a national organization that would champion diversity and inclusion across the country and also the success of the Texas Diversity Council (TXDC) established in 24. VISION The vision of the NDC is to cultivate a nationwide network of affiliated councils to advance diversity and inclusion by transforming our workplaces and communities into inclusive environments where individuals are valued for their talents and empowered to reach their fullest potential. MISSION The mission of the NDC is to be both a resource and an advocate for the value of diversity and inclusion.
